Bob Locatelli, owner of New Leaf Markets in Felton and Boulder Creek, has been a long-time supporter of Safe and Sober Grad Nite for SLV graduates. The former football and track standout graduated from SLV in 1964 and is a current varsity football coach at SLV. Every year he donates 5% of the profits for one day from both local stores. Supporters of Grad Nite are encouraged to shop at New Leaf on Thursday, January 24 this year. Sue Johnson, whose son Stephen Johnson will graduate in June, is coordinating New Leaf Day. “Don’t forget that this is a perfect time to stock up for Super Bowl, which is January 27 this year, and help us create an unforgettable graduation party for our seniors.” Senior parents can contact Sue at 295-2589 or johnsonbunch@yahoo.com to sign up to man the booths in front of the stores that day.
