Take a docent-led mountain bike adventure from Waddell Beach to beautiful Berry Creek Falls in Big Basin Redwoods State Park. First 6.4 miles in are by bike, then lock bikes and hike remaining half-mile to falls. Trail surface alternates between dirt, gravel and compressed needles-- muddy and narrow in places, and loose rocks and branches litter trail, so no beginner cyclists, please! Two river crossings with no bridge, so proper footwear and adventurous spirit are essential. Trip goes from 9:30am to 3:00pm. You provide your own bike and lunch.
