It is a great opportunity to serve your community. Before I ran for office as a Director for the Boulder Creek Recreation and Parks District I attended a past candidate information workshop. I recommend these workshops for those considering running for office, especially for those new to public office seeking. This article didn't mention that the Boulder Creek Recreation and Parks District will also seat open for election in November.
