SCH proposes the Home Owner's Assoc. for development will pay for septic plant

Actually, Rickey, SCH has stated that the Home Owner's Association that will need to form from this high-desnity housing development will be responsible for monthly dues and maintenance for the septic treatment plant. If it fails, they will have to come up with the money to fix it...and fast or it will be exactly as Sheryl describes. At least that is what they stated at a community meeting when these very questions were addressed. - Beth Hollenbeck

Thank you, Sheryl. Hired gun consultants and fancy developer talk cannot overpower common sense.

Malani, the ulterior motives are tax free profits to fund the next project and the next, and to fund the salaries of the officers and employees of South County Housing, Inc.

If the project is built, and when the water system, storm drainage system, and sewage system problems begin, South County Housing Inc. and the County will likely use Live Oak/Soquel Redevelopment money to try and fix the problems and to make a legal defense against the inevitable lawsuits. Poor Felton, poor Live Oak, poor Soquel.

I wonder when someone in power at the County will have the guts to stand up and say "Enough! Stop! This is a bad idea!" I wonder who it will be. Who has the courage? - Rickey Tave

Everybody who lives here knows about the septic problems at Safeway. The characters who support this development MUST have an ulterior motive. What is it? - Malani
