Gasoline was siphoned from a woman’s vehicle at 10:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Riverside Avenue in Ben Lomond.

Someone threw something at a man’s truck as it drove past the bar on the 9400 block of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond. The missile smashed the truck’s passenger-side mirror at 8:10 p.m.

Police confiscated fireworks at 9:55 p.m. on the 9400 block of Glen Arbor Road in Ben Lomond.

A man’s check card was stolen and another fellow charged items with it at 11:27 p.m. on the 200 block of Ridge Road in Boulder Creek.

A parolee was caught with a half-full bottle of brandy on the Felton Covered Bridge at 8 a.m. He had violated his parole and was taken to jail.

A man in Brookdale called 9-1-1 at
12:40 a.m., saying that people were chasing him. When the officer arrived on the 11500 block of Highway 9, the man showed signs of drug use and admitted that he had smoked methamphetamine the previous day.

A woman sleeping in her apartment had $90 stolen from her wallet at 11 p.m. on the 12800 block of Central Avenue in Boulder Creek.

A man’s iPhone was stolen out of his vehicle at 6:30 p.m. on the 6700 block of Highway 9 in Felton.

At midnight, someone ransacked the inside of the senior center on the 8500 block of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond and took a money bag that belonged to Meals on Wheels.

A set of golf clubs were stolen from a man’s garage at 8:06 a.m. on the 200 block of West Hilton Drive in Boulder Creek.

July 2

A car stolen during the night on the 100 block of San Augustine Way was seen traveling on Scotts Valley Drive at 8:13 a.m. The driver ignored an officer who tried to stop the car and instead pulled into a car wash. The officer performed a high-risk traffic stop, closing down Scotts Valley Drive for a time to contain the vehicle, and the young man driving the car was arrested. There were three other passengers, including two young people, in the car.

July 1

A vehicle with expired registration tags was stopped at 6:36 a.m. on the 5200 block of Scotts Valley Drive. The driver had never been issued a license and had already been convicted of driving without a license once before. The driver was arrested, and the vehicle was towed.

Two girls were caught by store security trying to steal makeup at 5:05 p.m. on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road. The girls were arrested and released to a parent.
