Golf is a frustrating game, even for some of the best athletes in the world, but Julie Inkster has made it look easy during her 25-year career on the LPGA tour. Julie Inkster drives a ball off the tee on the first hole at Pasatiemp Golf and Country Club while some Scotts Valley High golf team members admire her precise swing.
“That’s the hardest part, getting out of a funk,” said Inkster and Kay Cockerill , a former U.S. Amateur champion and LPGA vet who now reports for the Golf Channel, visited Inkster’s home course of Pasatiempo for a demonstration and question and answer session on Sept. 17.
