Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Nan Joesten of Scotts Valley; and five children, Stephen Joesten, and his wife, Karen, of Los Gatos, Stephanie Lykam, Margo Gorini, and her husband, Richard, of San Jose, Michele Bo of Mountain View and Patrice Joesten of Scotts Valley; and 14 grandchildren, Danielle, Jenni, Shauna, Melissa, Scott, Robbie, Andrew, Michael, Maggie, Joey, Andi, Ali, Mimi and Stevie.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Joesten; granddaughter, Lisa Lykam; and son-in-law, Dave Bo.

Saturday’s services will begin at 11 a.m. at San Agustin Church in Scotts Valley.
