A man found dead behind his home in Boulder Creek at noon likely died of natural causes or an accident, police say.
Sheriff's detectives are investigating the cause of death of a man found dead at his home on the 18500 block of Deer Creek Road in Boulder Creek on Monday.
"In this case it appears the victim died of a natural element or an accident," said Lt. Phil Wowak.
A woman who is believed to be a friend of the man's family found the body.
Authorities are not releasing the age and identity of the man until they've finished contacting his closest kin.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
