Midnight: A man serving a probation sentence was approached by deputies on the 6800 block of Highway 9 in Felton and subsequently arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of drugs.
Midnight: Deputies took a report after an unlocked vehicle was ransacked on the 30 block of Grand View Avenue in Felton.
4 p.m.: Deputies received a report from a resident of the 100 block of Teilh Drive in Boulder Creek that her vehicle had been vandalized with keys.
8 a.m.: A resident of the 500 block of Twin Pines Drive in Scotts Valley reported that someone had tried to pass six of her checks in various locations in the Bay Area. The physical checks were in the resident’s possession, and the person responsible was using the information on the checks.

12:44 a.m.: A man reported that several items had been taken from inside his unlocked vehicle while it was parked outside a gym on Whispering Pines Drive.
11:09 a.m.: A resident of Skypark Drive reported that someone had stolen three decorative lanterns and several pumpkins, and a hay bale had been stolen the night before. She also reported that someone had left a scarecrow in her yard that did not belong to her.
6:55 p.m.: An Xbox and other items were reported stolen from inside a home on Lucia Lane where someone apparently entered through an unlocked front door.
4:42 p.m.: A laptop computer, a set of house keys and a set of car keys were reported stolen from inside a home on Willis Road.
4:40 p.m.: A man reported that his 19-year-old daughter had been shoved and pepper-sprayed near the intersection of Bethany Drive and Tabor Way. The man said he knew who had done it, and the daughter received urgent-care treatment.
5:31 p.m.: Someone at a storage facility on Lockhart Gulch Road reported that an unknown person had broken into a storage locker. Officers from Oakland Police Department had notified the facility that they recovered a stolen firearm traced to the area.
5:55 p.m.: A man was arrested at the intersection of Civic Center and Scotts Valley drives for public drunkenness after officers received reports that he was yelling at people and creating a disturbance.
6:51 p.m.: Officers took a report from a man staying at a hotel on La Madrona Drive who claimed that his iPad had been taken from his hotel room as he went to his vehicle.
