She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Santa Cruz Chapter, while she lived in the Ben Lomond area.

Mrs. Johnston is survived by two daughters, Susan Jolly and Sandra Derby, both of Lincoln; a brother, Geoff Audsley of Evergreen, Colo.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three nieces and four nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Russell M. Johnston; a brother, Richard Audsley, and his wife, Mary; and a sister, Marjorie Audsley Deremer, and her husband, George.

A memorial service was held Oct. 18 in Lincoln.
