My wife and I want show our support for Bruce McPherson, candidate for the 5th District Santa Cruz County. Over the several months, many of his supporters have used many adjectives to express how he is qualified to lead as a supervisor for our district. He knows how the local, county and state governments operate and how to maneuver around to get the job done. Moreover, he is very concerned about his constituents and how he can help them.

At the beginning of the year, my wife, Thuy, and I were at a function where Bruce was attending. We were talking about issues we had encountered with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (Homeland Security) regarding Thuy’s citizenship application, knowing all well it is at the federal level. Two days later, I received a call from Bruce; he suggested to call Anna Eshoo’s office (U.S. Representative of the 14th District), which I did. Ten days later, Thuy received an appointment letter to take the citizenship test. She passed the test and is now a U.S. citizen.

After two years trying to get the appointment, with Bruce’s suggestion, it took less than two weeks. To us, Bruce is a “go-to guy” to get things done in the government. Vote for Bruce McPherson, 5th District

Wow, is that all it takes to get a vote in this election??? Make a phone call for someone? I would have done that for you and asked nothing in return!
