Timothy Patrick Walsh

Services were held this week for Boulder Creek resident Timothy Walsh who died in an accident at his home on January 20. He was 52.
Mr. Walsh was born in San Mateo and moved to Boulder Creek with his family as a 1-year-old. He attended local schools and graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School in 1979.
He worked as a truck driver in the construction business and will be remembered by friends and fellow workers as a “go to guy” because of his willingness to lend a hand on automotive projects.
Family and friends said he was an excellent mechanic, and loved to fix anything with a motor.
He was known in downtown Boulder Creek at the gas station where he would buy gas and coffee in the morning.
Mr. Walsh is survived by his father Leonard Walsh and three Sheila Walsh, Patty Walsh, and Carolyn Walsh, all of Boulder Creek and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Walsh who died in 2010.
Memorial service took place at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Boulder Creek on Monday, Jan. 27 and a Catholic blessing and committal ceremony was the following day at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery in Santa Clara.
