The accident scene on Lockwood Lane was a flurry on Monday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision that knocked out a power pole causing wires to hang over the roadway.

Lockwood Lane between Tan Oak Drive and Hidden Glen Drive in Scotts Valley will be closed overnight after a traffic collision downed a telephone pole on Monday afternoon.
A Ford Excursion SUV driven by a woman in what appeared to be her 50s or 60s clipped several garbage cans before running through a telephone pole and into another vehicle and rolling onto its side at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
According to California Highway Patrol, the Excursion was driving north on Lockwood when the accident occurred. The Xterra was preparing to turn from Caseta Way when the SUV collided with it. The woman was extracted from the Excursion, taken by ambulance from the scene and airlifted from Skypark. It was unclear if she suffered any injuries.
A 17-year-old driving a Nissan Xterra SUV that was hit by the Excursion appeared to have suffered minor cuts and bruises.
Lockwood Lane is closed in both directions until sometime on Tuesday as PG&E works to replace the damaged pole and restore electricity to the neighborhood.
