Ben Lomond resident Susan Weber announced this week that she has withdrawn from the race for Fifth District Santa Cruz County Supervisor.

"It was just disappointing," Weber said. "I couldn't raise any money."

Weber, a former San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District trustee said that she withdrew her candidate statement this week, but her name will be on the ballot in June because the deadline has passed to be removed from the primary election.

Three candidates remain in the race, Eric Hammer, Bill Smallman and Bruce McPherson.
