Alex Fossgreen was found walking on Kings Village Road in Scotts Valley on Tuesday afternoon after several people called the Scotts Valley Police Department to identify him.
According to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office, Fossgreen told authorities that he had gone camping and didn't know that a missing person's report had been filed by his family.
