Sept. 22

A man selected items at Ben Lomond Market, concealed them and attempted to walk out of the store without paying for them at 11:38 a.m. on 9440 Mill St.  

Sept. 21

A woman was sighted swerving on the road at 4:05 a.m. at Highway 9 and Hillside Avenue in Ben Lomond. When stopped by police, the woman seemed intoxicated and was arrested.

A person was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and taking various items from the Boulder Creek American gas station at 8:45 a.m. on the 1300 block of Highway 9 in Boulder Creek. The person also had an outstanding warrant from Tuolumne County.

Sept. 18

A large black trash bag containing two small marijuana plants devoid of cannabis buds was found and disposed of at the Felton Sheriff Service Center at 3:15 p.m. on the 400 block of Hillview Drive in Felton.

Sept. 17

An intoxicated pedestrian yelled at passing motorists at 12:05 a.m. on Glen Arbor Road and Highway 9 in Felton. Officers deemed him unable to care for himself, and he was taken to county jail.

A woman reported at 7 p.m. that someone vandalized the awning on her recreational vehicle, causing an estimated $15,000 in damage, on the 300 block of Manzanita Avenue in Felton.

A Felton man went to his Nissan truck at 12:46 p.m. only to find that the wheels and tires had been stolen off of it on the 200 block of North Covered Bridge Road in Felton.

Sept. 16  

A parolee was found camping in his vehicle at 11 p.m. on the 4000 block of Highway 9 in Felton while under the influence of a controlled substance and was booked into county jail.

A man drove past a pedestrian at 10:50 p.m. near the Safeway entrance on the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road in Felton. The pedestrian thought the driver was speeding, and the two became entangled in a war of words. As the man drove away, the pedestrian hit his passenger window and broke it. The driver wanted to press charges, and the pedestrian was cited to appear in court.

Sept. 23

An 89-year-old man rammed his car through the front window of Wells Fargo Bank, 203 Mt. Hermon Road, at 2:59 p.m. after he hit the accelerator instead of the brakes. No injuries were reported, and neither drugs nor alcohol are suspected.

Sept. 17

An intoxicated 21-year-old man got out of his mother’s vehicle on his way to The Camp Recovery Center. When police determined he was unable to care for himself, he was arrested at 1:22 p.m. on the 100 block of Mt. Hermon Road and booked into county jail.

A bicyclist riding on the wrong side of the road was hit by a vehicle exiting a shopping center at 8:53 a.m. on Mt. Hermon and Kings Village roads. The bicyclist had minor injuries after the crash.

Sept. 16

An officer checked a vehicle’s registration status when he saw it was having mechanical difficulties and found that it had been reported as stolen at 9:46 p.m. on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road. All four passengers, including three juveniles, were taken into custody. The vehicle was turned over to its registered owner.

A 61-year-old man had items stolen from his vehicle, worth a reported $565, at 9 p.m. on the 5500 block of Scotts Valley Drive.
