A committee that, for the last year, has examined the facilities in the Scotts Valley School District will make a presentation to the Scotts Valley community on Tuesday evening.
The committee will report on the facilities, like the aging Scotts Valley Middle School, and what the priorities are in the district while also discussing possible ways to pay for improvements.
The meeting is 6 p.m. on Jan. 19 at the Scotts Valley Middle School pavilion, 8 Bean Creek Road.
School board president Michael Shulman said the committee will likely present information about possible projects and then solicit feedback from those in attendance. They will then report to the School Board at an upcoming board meeting.
“I this as a starting point for further discussion with the community,” Shulman said.
School board members Jondi Gumz and Larry Beaman sit on the committee along with Chief Business Official Karen Jelcick and others.
