The annual Boulder Creek Business Association meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Feb. 17 at Liberty Bank, 13233 Highway 9, in Boulder Creek.
The business association will elect officers and directors for the 2010-11 year, and the Boulder Creek Recreation and Parks District will outline its plans for a new headquarters building in downtown Boulder Creek.
Organizers urge all members of the association and local businesses to attend.

Dominican gives $16K to hospice
Dominican Hospital, part of Catholic Healthcare West, has donated $16,000 to Hospice of Santa Cruz County. The hospice, based in Scotts Valley, provides professional help for those confronted by the end of life and the ensuing loss.
The grant was among $134,000 that CHW and Dominican gave to eight Santa Cruz County health-related groups.
Easton Bell acquires lacrosse company
Scotts Valley-based Easton Bell Sports recently bought a privately held lacrosse equipment manufacturer, Talon Lacrosse. The company is developing a new division, Easton Lacrosse, that will be based in Scotts Valley.
Balance Health plans open house
Balance Health of Ben Lomond will host a free open house where people can meet health care providers Sunday, Feb. 7.
Balance Health combines Eastern and Western medicine, with practices such as acupressure, massage, meditation, counseling, psychotherapy and energy treatments, like Reiki and polarity.
The open house will be from noon to 4 p.m. at Balance Health of Ben Lomond, 231-A Main St., across from the post office.
