• A man who appeared to be “strung out” was found with a methamphetamine pipe in his jacket at 12:30 a.m. on the 7000 block of Highway 9 in Felton.
Feb. 28
• During a probation check at midnight on Highway 236 at Pine Street in Boulder Creek, a man’s urine tested positive for methamphetamine and cocaine.
Feb. 26
• A man was stopped and was suspected to be under the influence of a controlled substance while driving at 8:24 p.m. on La Madrona Drive at Mount Hermon Road in Scotts Valley.
Feb. 25
• Someone cut a man’s face with a razorblade at 7:15 p.m. on Highway 9 at Lower Glen Arbor Road.
• A woman drove out of Felton Fuels gas station with the nozzle still attached to her car and broke it at 4:57 p.m. on the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road. The woman did not want to sign the incident report for the company’s insurance company.
• Someone entered a motor home and stole $100 cash and items worth $425 at midnight on the 20000 block of Big Basin Way in Boulder Creek.

Feb. 28
• A 39-year-old woman was caught stumbling out of Gia Tella’s Restaurant and was arrested after officers determined she was too intoxicated to care for herself at 4:53 p.m. on the 100 block of Victor Square.
• During a traffic stop for a mechanical violation at 3:48 a.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road, police recognized the driver from surveillance video footage of a Feb. 23 theft at Safeway, 253 Mount Hermon Road. The driver admitted guilt in the petty theft and was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.

• Police checked in with the occupants of a vehicle that ran out of gas on northbound Highway 17 near Mount Hermon Road and found heroin, marijuana and related paraphernalia inside at 1:49 a.m. All three people in the car were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances.
Feb. 25
• Someone ripped a car’s canvas convertible top and stole $20 in quarters at 8:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Bean Creek Road.
• Two teens got into a fight at 4:32 p.m. on the 200 block of King’s Village Road. They were both arrested and released to their parents.
• A 25-year-old man was stopped for a traffic violation and gave police his brother’s name and birthday at 12:59 a.m. on the 100 block of Mount Hermon Road. He was booked and arrested on suspicion of giving false identification.
