The three-to-five month closure of Highway 9 between Felton and Santa Cruz began today. Businesses along the Highway 9 corridor remain open, but traffic including walkers and cyclists must take alternate routes.
Caltrans is repairing a slip-out and re-enforcing the roadway about 2 miles toward Felton from the intersection with Highway 1 in Santa Cruz.
