Goodwill earns accreditation
CARF International has awarded Goodwill Industries and its Central Coast Division’s Shoreline Workforce Development Services a three-year accreditation for its business and career one-stop centers, job development, job support, job-site training, vocational evaluation and skills training services programs.
The latest accreditation is the 10th consecutive three-year accreditation that Goodwill Industries has received.
AdXplore hires sales reps
Scotts Valley-based AdXplore is in the process of hiring more than 500 sales representatives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
AdXplore, a free mobile search engine that allows smart-phone users to support the “shop local” movement, says its mission is to revitalize neighborhood-based businesses.

Funeral home goes green
Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz now offers nontoxic embalming and eco-friendly caskets, urns and memorial stationery, as well as a larger hands-on role for families who want to take part in the disposition of a loved one.
The funeral home is approved by the Green Burial Council to offer green burial options. Traditional funeral and cremation services also are still available.

Winegrowers launch website
The Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association has launched a new website that gives easy access to winery information, events, tours, hotels, restaurants and retailers, as well as other features.
The site, www.scmwa.com, helps visitors find wineries with an interactive Google map and announces events within the association.
