Crisp autumn nights are quickly becoming the norm in Scotts Valley and the San Lorenzo Valley, and as winter approaches, the flu bug is bound to strike.
Some local grocery stores, pharmacies and clinics have standard flu shots available. Doctors also may have a supply of flu shots available, and an appointment is sometimes necessary.
Folks are advised to call ahead to ensure that ample doses of the annual flu shot are ready for use. Flu shot days may also be announced at local markets and community events.
