Mount Hermon resident a finalist in dirty garage contest
Terry Beck of Mount Hermon has been named one of 55 finalists in CSN Tools’ Turbocharge Your Garage Challenge from among more than 8,000 “grungy garage” entries from across the U.S.
The contest, conducted by CSN Stores, asked people to describe the state of their garage and why it deserved to be “turbocharged.”
The prize is valued at $10,000, including a visit from HGTV’s Lynn Keegan and CSN Stores’ Room Rescue Crew.
Beck’s entry states: “We have been foster parents for the last 32 years. Our garage is the storage holder for our freezer, cribs, changing tables, not-needed-right-now-but-may-be-needed-for-the-next-child-in-our-home equipment, snowboards, canning jars, my husband’s workshop and overflow pantry items. The car does not fit in it. We hardly fit in it and find it very hard to locate what we are looking for.”
People can vote for finalists at www.facebook.com/csnstores after clicking the Contest Voting tab. Voting ends Dec. 31
