Quilt shop to show 4-H clubs’ work
SueDee’s Quilting, Knitting and More in Scotts Valley will show quilts made by members of the Scotts Valley and Felton 4-H clubs.
The quilts can be seen between Tuesday, Feb. 1, and Feb. 20 at the store, 222-G Mount Hermon Road. The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Scotts Valley manufacturer makes acquisition
Steed Technology, which makes thermal processing equipment for semi-conductor, LED and solar industries, has announced that it bought all of the outstanding stock of Applied Technology Specialists Inc.
Applied Technology Specialists is an engineering firm that develops advanced pollution control equipment and technology to neutralize volatile organic compounds and toxic gases from high-tech manufacturing. The company will become part of Steed, expanding its offerings.
Steed’s manufacturing will remain in Northern California, and research and development will stay in Oklahoma.
