San Lorenzo Valley High School will host a candlelight vigil to remember senior Kirsten Wetterhorn who was killed in a car accident in Boulder Creek.
The vigil is set for 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27 at the San Lorenzo Valley High School football field, 7105 Highway 9 in Felton.
Organizers hope for a strong turn-out from the public to honor her memory. They also ask attendees to bring their own candle with a wax ring in order to keep wax off the field.
Wetterhorn was killed in a solo car collision after she lost control of the 2006 Toyota Solara she was driving and collided with a tree near the Boulder Creek Golf and Country Club.
Students set up a memorial on the San Lorenzo Valley High campus and another memorial was set up on Highway 236 at the location of the accident.
