Spring sports all league honors awarded

The 2010-2011 all league teams have been announced by the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League, many local athletes garnered top honors.
Boys Volleyball
Senior of the year: Nick Gorman (San Lorenzo Valley), Freshman of the year: Derek Wolf (SLV)
First team: Jared Johnson (senior, SLV), Xavier Chavez (junior, SLV).
Second Team: Stefan Galewski (senior, Scotts Valley)
Softball
Pitcher of the year: Kendra Salangsang (senior, SLV)
First team: Nicole Whitney (sophomore shortstop, Scotts Valley) Heidi Robinson (junior outfielder, Scotts Valley), Jackie Richter (junior 1st base, SLV)
Second team: Jordan Rogers (junior 3rd base, Scotts Valley), Danica Houseman (junior 1st base, Scotts Valley), Hillary Hershberger (junior 2nd base, SLV)

Singles SCCAL champion, freshman Cody Rakella (Scotts Valley) won the singles title

Girls Track
Individual league champions: Scotts Valley: Ranae Malone (300 meter hurdles 47.72)
SLV: Cameron Kellogg (shot put, 31-1), Anna Maxwell (3200 meters 10.29)
