Shreve

Staff reporter Joe Shreve has left the Press-Banner after spending close to a year on the job.
Shreve, who was hired in October as a part-time news reporter, has taken a full-time position working for a private investigator in Capitola.
“Joe was a strong writer and reporter for the Press-Banner,” Editor Peter Burke said. “His presence in the newsroom and willingness to tackle local issues will really be missed, by our staff and by our readers.”
Shreve joined the Press-Banner staff as a general assignment reporter. He covered the Scotts Valley City Council and wrote crime and feature stories, among other duties.
The Press-Banner will be hiring a part-time reporter to fill out its news staff.
