EDITOR,
Last week, the debris from two separate car wrecks on Highway 9 near Glen Arbor were left strewn about in the bike lane. In one case, this included a headlight casing that was hiding in shadow. This was definitely a dangerous situation. Also Caltrans seems to think that their “men at work ahead” signs need to fill the entire bike lane, leaving no room for bicyclists to pass when there is traffic. This causes unnecessary stops and starts and is also dangerous.
