A remembrance service is planned in Scotts Valley to celebrate the life of retired Scotts Valley pastor Bill Kelly, who died in Santa Rosa at the age of 83.
The Rev. Kelly was born in Akron, Ohio, and had served as Episcopal priest associate at St. Philip the Apostle Episcopal Church in Scotts Valley.
The Rev. Kelly served at St. Philip’s along with his wife Karen Krestensen, prior to their full retirement in Santa Rosa. The surviving family resides in Santa Rosa.
There will be a simple, meditative service of remembrance at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, at St. Philip’s, 5271 Scotts Valley Drive, in Scotts Valley.
The St. Philip’s meditation service is scheduled for the same time as an official memorial service at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Santa Rosa.
