**12:10 a.m.: While serving a search warrant to a man near the 2300 block of Lockhart Gulch Road in Scotts Valley, deputies found methamphetamine in his pocket and two meth pipes in his truck.
Oct. 28
**6:49 p.m.: Deputies trying to serve a warrant on the 100 block of Green Valley Road in Scotts Valley reported finding methamphetamine and a meth pipe in the suspect’s trailer. The man was not at home.

**5:20 p.m.: Officers stopped two boys, ages 16 and 17, in a vehicle with expired registration tags. After getting consent to search the car, an officer reported finding a handgun and a pair of metal knuckles in the pair’s possession. Both teenagers were arrested and booked into Santa Cruz County Juvenile Hall.
Oct. 27
**12:44 a.m.: Officers found graffiti on the underside of a bridge near the intersection of Vine Hill School Road and Elderberry Court. The graffiti was photographed and documented.
Oct. 26
**10:55 a.m.: A 23-year-old man was reportedly panhandling on the median along eastbound Mount Hermon Road near La Madrona Drive when officers approached him. He was arrested after officers discovered that he had an outstanding warrant.
Oct. 24
**1:34 p.m.: A 41-year-old man was arrested on a warrant and released with a court date after he turned himself in at Scotts Valley Police Department headquarters.
