SV Little League registration under way
Registration for the 2012 Scotts Valley Little League season began Nov. 1. Players ages 5 to 12 as of April 30, 2012 and live within the boundaries of Scotts Valley Little League are eligible to sign up.
Registration is $135 if signed up by Dec.1, and increases to $160 after Dec 1. T-ball registration is $90. There are sibling discounts available.

Softball tryouts on tap
Tryouts for the 2012 summer Santa Cruz Rays 18-and-under girls softball team are Sunday, Nov. 20 at Soquel High School, 401 Old San Jose Road in Soquel.
