Boys soccer wins
The Scotts Valley boy’s soccer defeated the Palma Chieftains 2-0 in preseason play on Saturday, Dec. 10.
Falcon forward, Charlie Stock scored the first goal for the Falcons in the 15th minute on a pass from Hector Navarro to Steve Lonhart who headed the ball to Stock for a shot on the near side. The goal put the Falcons up 1-0 at half.
Dylan Kuo scored for Scotts Valley in the second half and Falcon goalie Brenny Hillan made seven saves, including three consecutive shots from point blank range on the same play.
The Falcons are 2-1-1 and play next on Jan 4 against Saint Francis of Watsonville.
