– Midnight: A man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness after deputies responded to reports that said he was refusing to leave a business on the 13000 block of Center Avenue in Ben Lomond.
– 8:30 a.m.: An estimated $800 worth of property was reported as stolen from a home on the 600 block of Graham Hill Road after someone entered through an unlocked back door.
Dec. 17
– 12:40 p.m.: A 50-year-old man was cited and released by deputies when he was found to be trespassing on the open lands near the intersection of Conference Drive and Graham Hill Road in Felton.
– 12:50 p.m.: A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and transporting an ounce of marijuana after he was stopped on the 200 block of Coon Heights Road in Ben Lomond.

– 9:40 a.m.: A man wanted on a warrant was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail after he phoned deputies acknowledging the warrant and his desire to turn himself in. He was picked up at the intersection of Highway 9 and Main Street in Ben Lomond.

Dec. 17
– 12:59 a.m.: During a traffic stop on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road, officers reported smelling the odor of burned marijuana from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle turned up marijuana and an open container of alcohol. The driver, who was younger than 18, was cited and released.
Dec. 16
– 2:48 p.m.: A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after another man, with whom he had been fighting on the 200 block of Kings Village Road, was hospitalized. The 56-year-old allegedly struck the other man in the head with a chunk of concrete before slamming the man’s head against the pavement.
Dec. 15
– 11:49 a.m.: A Scotts Valley High student was booked in the county’s juvenile hall on the recommendation of her probation officer after she was arrested for allegedly trying to hide a small amount of marijuana in a couch during class.
– 11:51 a.m.: A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vandalism after officers responded to reports of a man trying to break into a home on the 200 block of Civic Center Drive.
Dec. 14
– 9:19 a.m.: A 31-year-old woman was arrested at police headquarters when she went to the department for drug registration and officers discovered that she had a warrant out for her arrest.
– 11:59 p.m.: An officer responded to a fracas on the 100 block of Blueberry Court, where multiple people were reportedly fighting. One person had a laceration from being struck in the head with a stick but declined to press any charges.
Dec. 13
– 10:32 a.m.: A 32-year-old woman was cleared from Dominican Hospital and booked into county jail after she was found unconscious and under the influence of alcohol on the 200 block of Kings Village Road.
