Longtime Scotts Valley Unified School District employee Lynn Beebe died at her family home in Aptos over the weekend surrounded by family and close friends. She was 47.
Beebe, who was born in San Jose, began her teaching career at Scotts Valley Middle School in 1992 and transitioned to a counseling position after receiving a master’s degree in counseling from Santa Clara University.
A public memorial will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the Scotts Valley High School gymnasium, 555 Glenwood Drive, in Scotts Valley. A reception will follow.
