Scotts Valley Performing Arts will stage its sixth annual Broadway Cabaret variety show as a one-night performance March 3, a Saturday.
The performance will feature a host of local talent performing various acts. Those featured include Ashley Rae and Hillary Little from Cabrillo Stage; Joyce Michaelson and Susan Boes of Um Gee Um; Eleanor Hunter, Christina Cree and Brie Michaud; Geoff and Bobbie Ward; David Jackson and Zina Urquhart from “Annie Get Your Gun”; and Sandi Stoltenkamp from Santa Cruz Follies.
In addition, the SVPA Youth Shakespeare group will present a short montage from its upcoming summer production of “Romeo and Juliet,” and Christian Youth Theater will perform a selection from “Snoopy: The Musical.” Steps, a local group, will also perform.
The show will be in the Williams Theater on the Olivet University campus, formerly Bethany University Theater.
A silent auction the same night will benefit the theater group, with lots including a group dinner at an Aptos beach house, gift certificates and jewelry. Money raised will support upcoming youth Shakespeare programs and musicals.
Scotts Valley Performing Arts seeks volunteers to work on upcoming shows, including set painting, costuming and publicity.
