– Wesley William Anderson was born at 7:45 p.m. May 17, 2012, to Cynthia Janette (Couchman) and Carl Ray Anderson of Felton. Wesley weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces when he was delivered at Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center in Santa Cruz.
– Micah Olson Taff, son of Tyra Elaine and Joshua Lee Taff of Scotts Valley, was born at 3:35 p.m. May 18, 2012, at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz. He weighed 11 pounds, 1 ounce.
