Dance studio moves to Ben Lomond
Shuffles Dance Studio, formerly of Scotts Valley, will celebrate a grand opening Sept. 4 at its new location in Ben Lomond.
Owner Scott Nicholls, nicknamed “Mr. Shuffles,” moved his studio to Ben Lomond after 10 years on Scotts Valley Drive. The new address is 9573 Highway 9.

Bank donates $15K for Habitat townhouses
The Bank of America Charitable Foundation donated $15,000 to Habitat for Humanity’s project on Blake Lane in Scotts Valley. Lisa Crivello, the banking center manager at Bank of America’s Scotts Valley branch, and Debbie Casillas of the Santa Cruz branch presented the grant to Habitats’ Beth Bowman.
Bank of America community volunteers also worked on the project Saturday, Aug. 11.
