12:22 a.m.: A man was arrested by California Highway Patrol officers for driving drunk after sheriff’s deputies pulled his vehicle over at the intersection of Highway 9 and 236 in Boulder Creek.
 
9:01 a.m.: A man was arrested along Highway 9 in Boulder Creek after deputies determined he was under the influence of drugs.
 
Aug. 17
10 a.m.: A wallet was reported stolen after someone entered a home on the 14600 block of West Park Avenue in Boulder Creek through an unlocked side door.
 
5:30 p.m.: While arresting a man for suspicion of public drunkenness on the 13200 block of Middleton Avenue in Boulder Creek, someone scraped words on the rear end of a sheriff’s patrol car.

3:04 p.m.: A resident of the 400 block of Quail Ridge Road in Scotts Valley reported that his house had been burglarized.
 
Aug. 15
9 p.m.: A pair of headlights was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 13100 block of Oak Street in Boulder Creek.
 
Aug. 14
2 p.m.: Deputies sought an arrest warrant for a man who allegedly shoved his friend, cut his neck with a butter knife before throwing him into a bookcase, knocking him unconscious and taking his cell phone on the 100 block of Lazy Woods Drive in Felton.

8:15 a.m.: A resident of Navarra Drive reported that his unlocked vehicles had been burglarized and, among the items missing, were the vehicles’ registration documents.

9:22 a.m.: A resident of Zinfandel Circle reported to police that someone had stolen a bicycle from his unlocked garage.

4:44 p.m.: A man made a report that someone had broken into his storage unit at a storage facility on Lockhart Gulch Road.
Aug. 15
1:14 p.m.: A shoplifter was arrested after being detained by Kmart loss prevention staffers after being caught trying to steal pregnancy tests and underwear.
 
Aug. 14
10:13 a.m.: A duffle bag of clothing was reported stolen by a resident of Flora Lane after someone smashed a vehicle window to get it.
 
12:26 p.m.: Assorted tools were reported stolen after burglars entered a building on Victor Square undergoing a remodel project through a bathroom window.
