A final draft of a recovery plan for rebuilding the endangered Central California Coho salmon population in coastal rivers and streams from Santa Cruz to Fort Bragg will be presented in Scotts Valley on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration will present a workshop to provide the public with an opportunity to learn more about the contents of the recovery plan. NOAA officials will also answer questions.
The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hilton in Scotts Valley, Pine/Oak Room, 6001 La Madrona Drive and is open to the public.
Additional workshops will be held September 6 at The Wells Fargo Center, 50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa and on September 11 at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds, 1055 State Street in Ukiah.
