The Lompico Water District is sinking deeper and deeper every month. I received a bill for around $7 recently for some assessment from January 2012. A couple of days later, I get a 48-hour Notice of Service Cancellation. I have never been late with a bill, and I was livid that they would impose this on a reliable customer. I had mailed the check; the bank didn’t get it. Instead of calling me to check, they send a red cancellation notice? We are seriously considering moving from Lompico, because everything is more difficult, and this water issue is just another unfortunate administrative nightmare that has split the community. Merge and fix it once and for all.
