• A man’s car was entered and an iPod and spare change were taken around midnight on the 200 block of Fall Creek Drive in Felton.
Aug. 8
• A man was arrested for being drunk in public at 2:44 a.m. on the corner of Highway 9 and Mill Street in Ben Lomond.
Aug. 7
• Someone entered a woman’s car at 11:30 p.m. on the 16000 block of Highway 9 in Boulder Creek and stole money she had stored in the car’s center console compartment.

Aug. 18
• A 21-year-old man was arrested after he hid a bottle of alcohol under his sweater before walking out of a store without paying for it at 2:26 a.m. on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road.
• A young person under the influence of hallucinogens was arrested after wandering from home and running from officers at 6:55 p.m. on the 200 block of Acorn Drive.
Aug. 17
• Someone entered a home on the 400 block of Whispering Pines Drive at 4:30 p.m. and stole two laptops, camera equipment and an Xbox, which were valued at about $8,550.
Aug. 16
• A security camera in a grocery store on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road recorded someone trying to steal six bottles of tequila at 11:18 a.m. When approached, the person dropped the bag of liquor and ran.
• Someone entered an unlocked window and stole about $200 from a business on the 5000 block of Scotts Valley Drive. A sock containing some of the stolen change was found at the scene, along with shoe prints and latent fingerprints.
• Someone entered a business on the 4800 block of Scotts Valley Drive through the rear window and stole cash and personal checks out of the register at 3:45 p.m.
Aug. 15
• A man riding a bicycle was struck by a late-1990s dark green Pontiac Grand Am at 4:54 p.m. on the corner of Mt. Hermon Road and Scotts Valley Drive. A 28-year-old man was arrested at his home in Scotts Valley after fleeing the scene. Police are still looking for the Pontiac, which likely has damage to its hood, front fender and grille. Information about its whereabouts can be reported at 440-5670.
Aug. 14
• A 56-year-old man was stopped for failing to obey the lane markings at the corner of Flora Lane and Mt. Hermon Road at 3:41 p.m. The man was driving with a suspended license.
• A 37-year-old man’s cell phone was stolen out of his unlocked vehicle while he was shopping on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road at 8 p.m. The man’s friend called the cell phone, and the person who answered claimed to have found the phone before hanging up.
Aug. 13
• A girl ran from her father at 7:58 a.m. on the 100 block of Mt. Hermon Road. When the father caught up with her, the girl hit him several times with a stick and a vine and kicked him in the stomach before running away. The girl was caught and booked into juvenile hall.
Aug. 11
• An unlocked bike worth $400 was stolen from a woman’s yard on the 100 block of Civic Center Drive at 4 p.m.
Aug. 10
• An unlicensed 15-year-old girl took her adult sister’s vehicle without permission at 9 a.m. on the 100 block of North Navarra Drive. The vehicle was reported stolen, and when it was found, the girl was arrested and booked into juvenile hall.
