Another fire-hydrant hit in Scotts Valley

For the second time in just over a month, a car hit a fire hydrant on Mt. Hermon Road today.
This time, a car hit a fire hydrant on the corner of Mt. Hermon and Kings Village roads during afternoon traffic.
The accident wasn’t as spectacular as the one a block north on July 16, when a Chevrolet Blazer jumped a curb, knocked down a telephone pole and severed a fire hydrant, causing a 30-foot geyser to rise up.
