AA Division
Pirates 8, Giants 4
The Pirates scored four runs in the fifth inning on hits by Riley Nelson, Max Pasa, Landon Ayers, Lulu Mattingly and Charlie Hammer.
Giants players Damian Aguilar, Quinn Edgemon and Wyatt Rincorn all had hits in a four-run fourth inning.
 
Cardinals 8, Yankees 6
For the Yankees, Luke Sherrick, Kai Kiyabu, Sandy Monowitz and Zane McCarley all singled, but the Cardinals scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead.
For the Cardinals, Lucas Sandersen singled, Nathan Davison doubled and Julian Buntz tripled them both home. Jack Gross had a triple and Bodie Shargel recorded two hits for the Cardinals.
 
Minors Division
Orioles 6, A’s 5
Robbie Matajcich, Allan Yanagen and Simon Robbins singled for the Orioles, while pitcher Justin Bottiger got out of the sixth with two strikeouts to end a rally by the A’s.
For the A’s, Aiden Rich singled, Marco Nell and Dylan Arroyo both doubled and Matt Carney was aboard with the tying run.
 
Majors Division
Scotts Valley A’s 4, SLV Nationals 3
Reese Castagna threw 4-1/3 innings for the Nationals.
The A’s took the lead in the first with a single by Philip Garrison, a walk by Tyler Costere and a groundout from E.J. Bright.
The Nationals scored when Reid Olmsted walked, stole second and third, and came home on a single from Nick Thorne.
For the A’s, Nick Endres doubled in the fifth and scored on Costere’s triple.
Olmsted also tripled for the Nationals.
 
Scotts Valley Little League
AA Division
Knights 12, Volcanoes 11
For the Knights, Jake Grasso hit 4-for-4 and Luke Hollingsworth, Caden Stark and Matt Baker all went 3-for-4.
 
AAA Division
Marlins 5, Orioles 5 (tie)
Orioles batters Skyler Hughett, Austin Smith, Veronica Reynolds, Gabriel Keith and Ben Tapia all hit well in a tie game called because of rain.
Lucas Della stole home for the Marlins in the third.
 
Tigers 10, Mets 6
The Tigers took a six-run lead into the sixth on RBI hits by Jaden Ulrich, Connor Schelstraete, Jonathon Nava-Campos and Robbie Hall, while Ulrich and Schelstraete combined for 13 strikeouts.
Weber Stemm, Dylan Stanger and Joey Duncan combined for eight strikeouts, while Stemm had three hits for the Mets.
 
Braves 8, Mets 5
The Mets went up 5-1 behind pitcher Dylan Stanger, stingy defensive play and a hit from Brock Seichen. But Braves pitchers Alex Sherman and Jack Matty held the Mets scoreless in the last four innings.
Hits from Matty, Nolan Owens, Dagen Roepke and Logan Ross and a home run by Conor McEntee completed the comeback for the undefeated Braves.
Joey Duncan pitched well for the Mets.
 
Yankees 14, Tigers 4
Ryan Beam, Jostin Barber and Jaden Meulman each had multi-hit games, while Sammy McNeely, Ryan Linn and Nicolas Sutter collected RBI hits for the Yankees.
For the Tigers, Ryan Harris had two hits and Gabriel Aiello, Jaden Ulrich, Connor Schelstraete and Daniel Nava-Campos Braves each collected a hit.
 
Majors Division
Giants 1, Royals 0
The Giants Trevor Stocker homered in the first for the winning run while Zachary Yates pitched five innings with 12 strikeouts and no hits for the win. Arthur Soto for the Royals pitched 4-1/3 innings with seven strikeouts and gave up only two hits.
 
Scotts Valley Phillies 9, SLV Nationals 7
Ryan Bariteau led the Phillies with a double, triple, homer, and four RBIs and Brody Affolter, Evan Foy, and Garrett Hormel each scored twice for the winners.
Nick Thorne had three hits and two RBIs for the Nationals while Charlie Hayes added an RBI double.
