Brenda Allen

A memorial service will be held Saturday for San Lorenzo Valley resident Brenda Elizabeth Clark Allen who died peacefully after a 16-year battle with cancer. She was 52.
Mrs. Allen adamantly clung to life, and continued to care for her 12-year-old daughter, Allison for as long as she could.
A private, independent and strong-willed woman, Mrs. Clark was known for her Wesco boots and camouflage pants. In her younger days she enjoyed trips up Kings Creek riding her four-wheeler. She was the owner of a Siamese cat, George. 
She is survived by her grandmother Margret Garder of Sedilia, Mo.; father, Dan Clark of Drumph, Nev. and her four children, Steve Clark of Trenton, Mo., Jake Gaschet of Raytown, Mo., Becky “Jo” Unger of Brookdale and Allison Allen of Brookdale.
A memorial service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at that IOOF Hall, 13119 Highway 9 in Boulder Creek. Memorial donations may be made to Valley Churches United Missions, PO Box 367, Ben Lomond, CA 95005, earmarked Allison.
