A high speed chase on the streets of Scotts Valley ended when police conducted a traffic stop on Tabor Drive early Tuesday afternoon and arrested a 28-year-old woman.
Fallon Adriana Filippi was arrested at noon on the 700 block of Tabor Drive on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol while on probation, evading police and for two prior warrants.
Scotts Valley Police officers attempted to stop Filippi who was driving a 2013 Dodge Challenger on Scotts Valley Drive near Quickstop. Instead of pulling to the side, Filippi kept going, reaching speeds of 80 to 90 miles per hour north on Scotts Valley Drive, according to police. Officers said she ran two red lights at the Granite Creek overpass and Glenwood Drive before driving up Tabor Drive at the end of Scotts Valley Drive.
She ran out of room in the residential neighborhood on Tabor and officers were able to corral her. She was arrested and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
Filippi was staying at a hotel in Scotts Valley, and a probation search conducted on her room found no further evidence.
