I want to share with you new information on airport body scanners which I wrote about in July 2011.
As of June 1, 2013, all radiation producing x- ray “backscatter” machines have been removed from U.S. airports.
At this time only millimeter wave machines are in use. These devices use radio waves and produce no potentially harmful radiation.
Good news for the frequent traveler.
