Christopher Robert Luce

Former San Lorenzo Valley High School graduate Christopher Robert Luce died peacefully in Reno, Nev. last month. He was 47.
Mr. Luce was born in Los Angeles and was a long-time resident of Reno.
He lived in New York, Spain, and California with his parents Robert and Nancy Luce.
A 1985 San Lorenzo Valley High School graduate, Mr. Luce went to college in San Diego and graduated from the United States International University.
He was an active leader in the Reno Relay for Life, supporting cancer research in memory of his oldest daughter.
Mr. Luce is survived by his daughter Kristin Luce of Reno; his former-wife Lauren Miller of Reno; his father Robert Luce, sister, Diane McCormick and husband Gary, and niece, Katherine, of Ben Lomond.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Taylor and his mother, Nancy.
A Celebration of Life was held October 6 at Rancho San Rafael Park in Reno.
