Shout-out: Ben Lomond Fire board lauded for responsible spending

EDITOR,
This is a long overdue letter to acknowledge Fire Chief Stacie Brownlee and the Ben Lomond Fire District Board of Directors for coordinating and overseeing the installation of the beautiful, state-of-the-art new doors on the engine bay of Ben Lomond Fire Station.
These doors will allow old and newer fire equipment to exit and enter the existing bay safely.
Chief Brownlee and the board worked together to achieve this task and stay within the district’s budget. We often hear of agencies, public and private spending irresponsibly, over spending or spending needlessly.
We appreciate the tenacity of Chief Brownlee and the board to accomplish this huge task.  
Many thanks to our Ben Lomond Volunteer Firefighters who sacrifice their time and utilize their expertise to provide Ben Lomond with emergency services 24-7. We appreciate their unselfish contribution to our community.
