A 52-year-old Boulder Creek man was killed January 20 when the truck he was working on fell atop of him and crushed him, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.
Timothy Walsh of Boulder Creek was performing vehicle maintenance on a truck at his home on Double Bogey Drive in Boulder Creek when it rolled off the stands and landed on his chest, and not allowing him to breath.
A neighbor saw that the truck was on Walsh and called 911. Medical personnel arrived and were unable to save him. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff Coroner’s Office deemed Walsh’s death an accident.
