A week of regular rainfall resulted in seven inches of precipitation in the San Lorenzo Valley between Wednesday, Feb. 26 and Sunday, March 2.
The season total in Felton has crept up to 19.30 inches this year, according to reports from Cal Fire, which considers the rainfall year July 1 to June 30. Last year at this time, Cal Fire had recorded 32.47 inches of rain.
However, more wet days appear to be on the horizon, with www.accuweather.com predicting mild rainfall on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday this week. The website also predicts thunderstorm-like conditions in mid-March.
Historically, the San Lorenzo Valley averages about 50 inches of rainfall each year.
